Job Opportunity We are seeking a skilled Groundman to join our team in supporting electric overhead and underground construction in Red Wing, MN. This position has a competitive hourly rate. Key Responsibilities: • Perform all duties of the Helper (Groundman) classification, involving various electric line construction and maintenance responsibilities. • Work collaboratively with others and possess a positive attitude and commitment to work safely, provide quality customer service, create customer satisfaction, and work productively. This is a temporary position, and there is no guarantee of employment beyond 6 months. This temporary position does not qualify for Union seniority or benefits. Requirements: • A High School Diploma or GED obtained prior to start date and meet all of the following criteria: • Completion of an accredited Lineman program or equivalent. • Operational experience with construction equipment is preferred. • Possession of a Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL). • High commitment to Safety. • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. • Must be in excellent physical condition and able to lift up to 50 pounds. • Developed mechanical ability. • Availability to respond to after-hours calls, including weekends and evenings. • Willingness to participate in written and hands-on assessments.
