Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lead to oversee and coordinate various construction projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in carpentry and construction, demonstrating leadership abilities while ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards. This role requires hands-on experience in multiple aspects of construction, including but not limited to framing, trim work, and restoration. Responsibilities • Supervise and lead a team of construction workers on-site, ensuring projects are completed efficiently and safely. • Perform construction estimating to determine project costs and resource requirements. • Execute trim carpentry, frame carpentry, and other woodworking tasks as needed. • Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various construction tasks. • Read blueprints and schematics to ensure accurate project execution. • Oversee concrete forming, plastering, rebar installation, and other essential construction activities. • Manage fixture installation, cabinet installation, door hanging, and siding work. • Conduct water damage restoration and mold remediation as necessary. • Ensure compliance with safety regulations on the construction site. • Collaborate with project managers to maintain timelines and quality standards. Skills • Proficient in construction estimating and blueprint reading. • Strong knowledge of trim carpentry, frame carpentry, cabinetry, door hanging, and fixture installation. • Experience with hand tools, power tools, concrete forming, plastering, caulking, stucco application, and masonry work. • Familiarity with roofing techniques and heavy lifting requirements. • Background in restoration industry practices including water damage restoration and mold remediation. • Ability to perform flooring installation, tile laying, electrical work, plumbing tasks, metal stud framing, CNC operations, assembly processes, and construction painting. • Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on quality craftsmanship in all aspects of construction. • Strong leadership abilities with effective communication skills to manage teams efficiently.
