Job Summary The Senior Construction Engineer I role involves coordinating and monitoring work to ensure adherence to contract documents. This position oversees the construction contractors assigned to perform contract administration and oversight tasks at facilities. Main Responsibilities • Lead the construction engineering function for various projects, managing construction projects and providing technical guidance. • Conduct on-site visits to support constructability reviews, inspections, evaluations, and testing, as well as coordinate with vendors during the manufacturing process. • Complete field inspections, assist in assessing existing conditions, and evaluate equipment, developing recommendations for complex scenarios with limited oversight. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project success. • Provide expertise in interpreting and applying codes, standards, and procedures, establishing internal guidelines. • Inspect and evaluate existing installations for electrical, mechanical, structural equipment, and systems to ensure proper installation, identify issues, and recommend improvements to design and construction.
