Will assist in carrying out projects, and may supervise and instruct lower grade incumbents as needed; will read blueprints and maintain new and existing equipment. Minimum Qualifications: Four years of full time experience in the Carpentry trade under a skilled journeyman which would provide training equivalent to that given in an apprenticeship program. Apprentice training in the carpentry trade or training gained by the completion of technical courses in a trade and school or institute may be substituted for the above experience on a year-for-year basis. Must possess 2 years of experience in maintenance or mechanical work in related trades of Masonry & Painting under the supervision of a skilled tradesman or completion of an appropriate 2 yr. technical school course.
