Experienced Carpenter/ Foreman (Residential Construction) We are seeking an experienced Carpenter to work with our construction team in delivering high-quality projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of carpentry and construction processes. As a carpenter, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations,ensuring quality control, and managing project timelines effectively. Responsibilities: • Supervise and coordinate the activities of carpenters and construction workers on-site. • Implement quality control measures to ensure all work meets industry standards and client specifications. • Collaborate with other construction professionals and subcontractors to ensure project goals are met. • Communicate effectively with clients to understand their requirements and address their concerns. • Take an active role in ensuring job site safety, cleanliness, and organization. • Supervise and mentor less experienced carpenters. • Complete projects within specified deadlines while maintaining quality standards. Requirements: • Must have at least 5 years (preferred 10 years) of experience in residential carpentry • Proven experience as a Carpenter in residential construction. • Journeyman or Carpenter certification preferred but not required . • Extensive knowledge of building codes, construction techniques, and safety regulations. • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing job site conditions. • Strong leadership and management skills. • Non-smoker preferred. • Physical ability to lift heavy objects and work in a variety of weather conditions.
