REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Good knowledge of the common practices, tools, terminology, and accident precautions of the trade; ability to work from plans and specifications, and to follow rough sketches and oral instructions; ability to operate common woodworking machinery; physical strength and stamina; good physical condition. ACCEPTABLE EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING: Three years of experience as a carpenter, one of which shall have been on a journeyman level, and completion of a standard grade school course; or any equivalent combination of experience and training sufficient to indicate ability to do the work.
