The ideal candidate will have a broad experience with general carpentry skills and the ability to work with limited supervision. Our Carpenter will be constructing and remodeling both residential and commercial buildings, so trade skills are a must as well as a demonstrated attention to detail. Responsibilities: • Use hand and power tools to assemble, install and repair structures and fixtures of wood, metal or plastic. • Use measuring tools to determine dimensions. • Measure and mark lumber to prepare for construction projects. • Read plans and blueprints to determine work needs. • Use nails, screws, bolts and other fasteners to assemble wood, metal or plastic structures or fixtures. • Maintain tools and vehicles needed for construction projects. Note: • Valid NYS Driver's License • Employees are required to have access to a reliable form of transportation.
