POSITION SUMMARY Responsible for project execution and completion as assigned by Carpenter Supervisor. PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES • Skilled and professional completion of projects, such as decks, concrete walks, installing new windows and doors, renovations of kitchens and baths, or any other assigned project. • Maintain clean and safe work areas, and minimize the peripheral impact of project activity by constructing work zone barriers. • Implement strict safeguards to prevent non-facilities staff from having access to project equipment or project related conditions of peril. • Oversee equipment and tools to ensure they are kept in proper order and well maintained. • All other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS • High School Diploma or GED required, Associates Degree in construction related trade preferred. • Minimum 3 years’ experience in carpentry required, 5 years’ of experience preferred. • Plumbing and electrical knowledge preferred. • Must be able to work a flexible schedule • Duties require professional verbal and written communication skills. • Must be able to work in a team setting as well as independently as required. • Proficiency in or knowledge of using a variety of computer software and e-mail applications, especially Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word; have the aptitude to learn other computer software as necessary. • Ability to lift up to 80 pounds in a safe manner. • Meet the requirements to drive Springbrook vehicles as required. Lead Carpenter / Working Foreman

About the Role We’re growing and hiring reliable General Laborers to support daily operations on active construction sites. This is a long-term position with steady hours, on-the-job training, and opportunities to grow. What You’ll Do • Clean and prepare construction sites; maintain safe, orderly work areas. • Load/unload materials and equipment; handle deliveries. • Build and dismantle scaffolding and temporary structures (scaffold user cert a plus). • Follow supervisor instructions and implement site plans. • Assist skilled trades (e.g., carpenters, electricians) as directed. • Support general tasks: trenching, concrete/demo, debris removal, tool staging. Must-Haves • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. • Able to lift 50+ lbs, stand/walk for long periods, climb ladders, and work at heights/outdoors in all weather. • Communicate effectively in English for safety briefings, written instructions, and radio calls. • Consistently on time, follows directions, thinks on their feet, and works safely. • Comfortable with hard, dirty work and wearing required PPE (hard hat, hi-vis, boots, gloves, eye/ear protection). Nice to Have • OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 a plus (bring card). • Scaffold user certification; forklift/telehandler; flagging; First Aid/CPR. • Experience with hand/power tools and basic site logistics.
