Responsibilities • Read blueprints or drawings of articles to be constructed or repaired and plan sequence of cutting or shaping operations to be performed. • Marks outline or dimensions of parts on material in accordance with required specifications. • Set up and operate various carpentry machinery such as power saw, jointer, mortiser, tenoner, molder, shaper, edge bander, etc. to construct project. • Utilize various hand tools to fabricate and repair High Density Plastic Laminate (HDPL) cabinets and other high-grade furniture. • Ensure materials match color, grain, or texture. • Trim component parts of joints to ensure snug fit, using hand tools, such as planes, chisels, or files. • Bores holes for insertion of screws or dowels by hand or using boring machine. • Glues, fits, and clamps parts and subassemblies together to form complete unit, using clamps or clamping machine. • Sands and scrapes surfaces and joints of articles to prepare articles for finishing. • Repair high-grade articles of furniture, equipment, and fixtures • Dip, brush, spray assembled articles with protective or decorative materials, such as stain, varnish, or paint. • Install cabinetry components such as hinges, catches, drawer pulls, etc. • Complete countertop fabrication in both Plastic Laminate and Solid Surface. Maintenance Worker

Full-Time Evenings Pay Range $23.43-$25.15/hr Maintains the grounds, facility and particularly the HVAC and electrical equipment in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with current applicable Federal, State, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations, the facility’s established policies and procedures, and as may be directed by your supervisor. Job duties specific to this position: • Repairs, replaces and transports a variety of equipment, fixtures, and furniture for the facility. • Interprets schematic and ladder electrical diagrams. • Troubleshoots advanced electrical, mechanical and HVAC equipment such as washers, large motors, electrical controls, air handling systems, etc. • Installs electrical systems, including conduit bending, panel installations, and control systems. • Actively participates in preventative maintenance. • Observes established safety rules. • Keeps supervisor informed of supply needs. • Reports all unsafe/hazardous conditions, defective equipment, breakdowns, incidents/accidents, etc., to supervisor immediately. • Assures that work areas are clean and free of hazardous conditions and that tools, supplies, etc. are properly stored before leaving such areas on breaks, end of workday, etc. • Attends and participates in in-service programs, on-the-job training programs, seminars, workshops, etc., as directed. • Ensures maintenance schedules are followed. • Moves furniture and equipment. • Maintains salt stock.
