Job Description: Residential Construction Framer at MAG Builders LLC We are seeking a dedicated Residential Construction Framer to join our team. As a Framer, you will play a crucial role in constructing the framework of residential buildings, ensuring they are structurally sound and meet quality standards. • Familiarize yourself with architectural plans and schematics to understand the layout and specifications of the framing structure. • Choose appropriate materials (studs, joists, rafters, etc.) and prepare them by measuring, cutting, and shaping using hand and power tools. • Assemble and install framing structures, including walls, floors, and roofs, ensuring accuracy and structural integrity. • Install windows, doors, and other fixtures within the framed structure. • Inspect and repair damaged framing structures, ensuring compliance with building codes and safety regulations. • Demonstrate precision and attention to detail in all framing tasks. • Adhere to project timelines and deadlines to ensure timely completion of construction projects. Job Requirements for Residential Construction Framer Role • Physical Strength and Dexterity: • Framing work requires physical stamina and the ability to perform tasks with precision and accuracy. • Carpentry Skills: • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings • Proficiency in using hand and power tools, such as hammers, saws, levels, and nail guns. • Mathematical Skills:Ability to measure accurately and calculate dimensions for framing structures. • Problem-Solving:Ability to identify and resolve on-site challenges and adapt to changing conditions. • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with other tradespeople, contractors, and clients. • Experience: • Minimum of 3 years of experience in residential construction framing • Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship • Knowledge of Building Codes and Safety Regulations:Understanding and adhering to local building codes and safety standards is essential.
