The successful candidate should understand and be able to perform carpentry skills(form work and rough carpentry), ability to operate power tools, perform selective demolition, and comply with all company and OSHA guidelines. Bridge Lead Carpenter

K2 Construction is seeking a highly motivated Lead Carpenter/Concrete Finisher. This individual will be expected to assist in the general operations of Bridge and/or Box Culvert construction sites. This individual must have the ability to effectively lead a small carpenter crew to build wood and steel formwork. Bridge Construction experience is beneficial, but not a must. Position Requirements • Ability to Lead Small Crews for Independent Tasks • Ability to Layout Off Centerline • Minor Surveying • Actively Comprehend Prints (Rebar/Formwork) • Proficiently Operate Most Equipment • Can Set/Grade Finish Machine Rail • Ability to Build Advanced Formwork • Proficient with Rigging and Signaling • Grade Deck and Overhang PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS The work that is done by K2 Construction is physically demanding no matter what position you are in. Candidates will need to be able to walk, stand, bend, kneel, crouch, twist, reach, grasp, speak, communicate, and see. Candidate must be able to lift loads of 100 pounds and have dexterity. Skilled Carpenter/Laborer

Role responsibility: – Responsible to meet or exceed the standards defined in the project documents for the installation of the materials that are assigned. – Follows the BIC safety standards and company handbook. – Ensure the proper care of BIC owned equipment and materials – Other roles as defined by your supervisor.
