Job Description: Midwest Drywall is seeking skilled and experienced Commercial Carpenters to join our team. As a Commercial Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures in commercial buildings. Your precision, attention to detail, and ability to work efficiently will be critical to the success of our projects. Responsibilities: Installation: Measure, cut, and install metal studs, drywall sheets, ceilings, and partitions in commercial buildings. Repairs and Patching: Repair damaged or uneven surfaces by patching and replacing drywall as needed. Framing and Layout: Work with carpenters and other construction professionals to ensure proper framing and layout of drywall as required by the project. Reading Blueprints: Interpret and work from blueprints and drawings to ensure accurate drywall and other material installation. Health and Safety: Comply with safety regulations and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others. Ensure the job site is clean and tidy after completing tasks. Skills and Qualifications: Proven experience as a commercial drywall carpenter or similar role in the construction industry. Proficiency in using various hand and power tools related to drywall installation and finishing. Strong knowledge of drywall materials, techniques, and industry standards. Physical strength and stamina to handle heavy drywall sheets and perform repetitive tasks. Good communication skills to work effectively with other team members on the construction site.
