Our ideal candidate will be a jack-of-all-trades, with in-depth knowledge of maintenance procedures, hydraulic systems, and basic tools and appliances. Key Responsibilities: • Performing routine maintenance around the building such as fixing structural damage, for example, window, door/wall repair, & masonry repairs. • Repairing broken or leaking plumbing to avoid water damage and restore full use of water fixtures. • Plumbing knowledge to address leaks, clogs, or other drainage issues. • Carpentry ability to handle basic repairs and upgrades. • Working on damaged electrical wiring when a shortage or severed wire occurs. • Maintaining the building HVAC equipment to keep climate control in the facility functioning properly. • Applying preventative measures to the building to reduce the risk of future problems, such as using a sealant on a flat roof. • Fixing potential safety hazards to avoid injuries. • Painting the building when old paint has become faded or chipped. • Troubleshoots issues to determine necessary repairs. • Conduct maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs & changing air filters. Position Requirements: • Ability to perform strenuous tasks with your hands. • Experience using hand tools and electrical tools. • Ability to kneel, bend, and lift heavy materials. • Ability to measure accurately and read specifications. • Plumbing, carpentry or electrical certifications preferred but not required. • Must be able to pass pre-employment drug test.
