Overview We are looking for a skilled and dependable Framer/Carpenter to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have experience in framing structures and general carpentry. You will be responsible for building, installing, and repairing wooden frameworks and structures such as walls, floors, doorframes, and roofs. Duties • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and building plans to meet project specifications. • Measure, cut, and assemble lumber and other materials using hand and power tools. • Construct walls, floors, door frames, windows, roofs, and other structural components. • Install framing for residential, commercial, or industrial buildings. • Inspect work for accuracy, quality, and adherence to building codes and regulations. • Repair or replace damaged framework or structures. • Work with a crew to complete framing projects on time and within budget. • Follow all safety guidelines, including proper use of tools and protective equipment. • Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and site managers. Skills • Proven experience as a framer, carpenter, or similar role in construction. • Strong knowledge of wood framing techniques, materials, and tools. • Skilled in using measuring tools, saws, nail guns, levels, and other carpentry tools. • Physical strength and stamina; able to lift 50+ lbs and work at heights or in varying weather conditions. • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and time management skills. • High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational training or apprenticeship a plus. • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
