Apprentice Carpenter

Job Overview We are small team of highly skilled professionals seeking a dedicated Carpenter Apprentice to join our team. This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to start a career in carpentry and construction. The Carpenter Apprentice will work under the supervision of experienced carpenters, gaining hands-on experience in various aspects of carpentry and construction projects. This role requires a willingness to learn and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Responsibilities • Assist skilled carpenters in the construction, installation, and repair of structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials. • Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to understand project specifications. • Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various carpentry tasks, including general construction, trim work, and fixture installation. • Participate in tile installation and other construction related tasks as needed. • Support the team with heavy lifting and moving materials on construction sites. • Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety on the job site. • Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines while adhering to quality standards. Requirements • Basic knowledge of construction principles and practices is preferred. • Experience with hand tools, power tools, and woodworking techniques is highly desirable. • Familiarity with construction estimating, blueprint reading, and schematics is a plus. • Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by specific tasks. • Previous experience on construction sites or in the residential remodeling industry is advantageous. • Willingness to learn various carpentry skills including cabinet installation, door and interior trim installation, flooring installation, tile installation and other various remodeling tasks. • High level of Professionalism is required; customer service skills are a plus. • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work. • Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment.
