Job Title: Traveling Carpenter (Travel role with Per-diem) Pay : $24-$30, free lodging and daily Per Diem as well. (up to $34 for Forman) Where: Overland Park, and then around the region in MO, NE, KS and OK . Job Description Join a dynamic team that specializes in large-scale commercial services. We focus on framing, insulation, drywall sheathing, finishes, and acoustics, serving clients across Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, and Oklahoma. Responsibilities • Build wall and ceiling structures, install insulation, and prepare surfaces for finishing. • Hang drywall, tape, mud, sand, and ensure smooth surfaces. • Work with FRP, EIFS, stucco, and metal panels for sheathing and exterior finishes. • Install suspended ceilings and acoustic panels. • Collaborate closely with foremen, drywall finishers, ceiling mechanics, and laborers. • Follow OSHA standards and maintain safe practices on job sites. Essential Skills • Strong understanding of commercial construction skills, especially in framing and drywall systems. • Proficiency in leadership, carpentry, project management, and scheduling. • Ability to read and interpret blueprints. • Commitment to safety compliance and quality control. • Effective risk management and conflict resolution skills.
