Position Overview We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Commercial Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures in commercial settings. This role requires precision, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities • Construction & Installation: Build, install, and repair frameworks, partitions, ceilings, doors, windows, and other wooden or metal structures in commercial buildings. • Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical plans to ensure accurate project execution a plus. • Material Handling: Measure, cut, shape, and assemble materials. • Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations, ensuring a safe work environment for yourself and others. • Collaboration: Work closely with superintendent, foreman and assistants to ensure daily needs of job site are fulfilled. • Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve issues that arise during construction or repair processes. • Quality Assurance: Inspect completed work to ensure it meets company standards and client expectations.
