Job Title: Carpenter Job Description Join our dynamic team as a Carpenter working on a variety of new construction buildings ranging from small to large-scale projects. As part of a seasoned team of carpenters, you will engage in all aspects of general carpentry. With over 20 projects currently underway in Southern Wisconsin, you may find yourself on a job site for periods ranging from 1-2 months to over six months. Responsibilities • Work on steel stud framing projects. • Engage in all aspects of general carpentry, including concrete, finish, and commercial construction. • Perform trim carpentry, framing, and rough carpentry tasks. • Measure accurately with a tape measure and use various hand tools. • Travel up to 1.5 hours for project assignments. Essential Skills • Experience in steel stud framing and general carpentry. • Proficiency in framing carpentry, trim carpentry, rough framing, interior trimming, and exterior finishing. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Experience in commercial construction and using hand tools. • Capability to work in various weather conditions. Why Work Here? The team size will vary depending on the project, with current concrete crews consisting of about 5-8 members. Work hours can range from 6:30 am to 5:30 pm, primarily from Monday to Friday. Required personal protective equipment includes leather boots above the ankle, safety glasses, a hard hat, and high-visibility clothing. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $29.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
