The Carpenter will be responsible for ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and adherence to safety standards while collaborating with other tradespeople. Responsibilities • General Carpentry - residential and commercial • Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tasks. • Demolition • Rough Framing - framing walls for remodels, setting trusses occasionally. • Trim Carpentry - hanging cabinets, base and casing, door hanging, etc. • Drywall patching and painting. • Reading prints and determining layouts • Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote quality and safety. • Ensure company and customer satisfaction through professional appearance, expert workmanship and polite communication. Requirements • Proven experience as a Carpenter or in a similar role within the construction industry. 5+ Years carpentry experience preferred. • Proficiency with hand tools and power tools commonly used in carpentry. • Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and sketches to understand project specifications. • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. • Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, lifting, and manual dexterity. • Valid Driver’s License with a satisfactory driving record. • Strong communication, customer service, organization & prioritization skills. • Able to climb ladders, work at ceiling or greater heights, work in tight spaces, work/sit/stand prolonged periods of time. • Able to lift 50 lbs. independently, up to 100lbs with assistance.
