This role involves working on diverse projects, including installation, repairs, and renovations. The Carpenter will be responsible for ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and adherence to safety standards while collaborating with other tradespeople. Responsibilities • General Carpentry - residential and commercial • Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tasks. • Demolition • Rough Framing - framing walls for remodels, setting trusses occasionally. • Trim Carpentry - hanging cabinets, base and casing, door hanging, etc. • Drywall patching and painting. • Reading prints and determining layouts • Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote quality and safety. • Ensure company and customer satisfaction through professional appearance, expert workmanship and polite communication. Requirements • Proven experience as a Carpenter or in a similar role within the construction industry. 5+ Years carpentry experience preferred. • Proficiency with hand tools and power tools commonly used in carpentry. • Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and sketches to understand project specifications. • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. • Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, lifting, and manual dexterity. • Valid Driver’s License with a satisfactory driving record. • Strong communication, customer service, organization & prioritization skills. • Able to climb ladders, work at ceiling or greater heights, work in tight spaces, work/sit/stand prolonged periods of time. • Able to lift 50 lbs. independently, up to 100lbs with assistance. Essential Functions: • Adhere to the company's preventative maintenance program • Measure, mark, and arrange materials to establish layout based on blueprints or instructions from supervisors. • Cuts and shapes structures, forms, or other fixtures from wood, plastic, fiberglass, or drywall. • Install, maintain and repair areas, such as but not limited to, machinery, equipment, physical structures, carpentry, drywall, plumbing, and electrical systems in commercial property buildings • Perform installation, maintenance, and repairs of other facility equipment, ensuring that all company procedures have been adhered to • Perform general facilities work related to construction, repair, finishing, and installation of facility-related equipment using power and hand tools and other necessary equipment • Adhere to company safety programs, policies, and procedures.
