Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Carpenter to oversee and execute various construction projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in carpentry and construction, demonstrating proficiency in residential remodeling. This role requires a hands-on leader who can manage a team, ensure quality workmanship, and maintain safety standards on-site. Duties • Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the construction team, ensuring adherence to project timelines and specifications. • Perform construction estimating to assess project costs and resource requirements. • Execute trim carpentry, frame carpentry, and other woodworking tasks with precision. • Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various construction tasks. • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to guide project execution. • Oversee the project in its entirety from beginning to finish • Ensure proper installation of materials and follow the manufacturer's specifications • Conduct heavy lifting as required during various phases of construction. • Maintain a clean and safe work environment while adhering to all safety protocols. • Collaborate with subcontractors and other tradespeople to ensure seamless project completion. Qualifications • Proven experience in the industry with leadership skills • Proficiency in construction techniques required in remodeling. • Strong knowledge of construction layout & materials. • Ability to lift heavy materials consistently throughout the workday. • Excellent communication skills for effective team collaboration. • A valid driver's license is required for transportation to job sites.
