Why Should You Work Here? • Competitive wages • Health, vision, dental, and life insurance available • Simple IRA Investment Plan • Training and certifications available • Friendly and supportive work environment • Full-Time hours available • Overtime eligible • Opportunities for advancement Primary Responsibilities: • Perform finish and trim carpentry according to plans and specifications • Measure, cut, and install base and casing, windows, ceiling panels, staircases, siding, , flooring, etc. • Design, build, and install cabinets for new and refurbished homes/offices • Erect scaffolding or ladders as needed • Collaborate with other carpenters, craftsmen, and subcontractors to complete projects • Troubleshoot and repair issues with building components and equipment • Follow established regulations and advocate for safety on each worksite • Organize equipment within the warehouse • Monitor, communicate, and respond to customer needs/concerns to ensure customer needs are met Qualifications: • High school diploma/GED • Effective verbal communication • Basic math skills • Strong attention to detail • Blueprint reading skills • Able to use common hand and power tools • Must have own trade tools • IICRC certifications preferred • Experience with new construction and/or remodels preferred, but not required • Previous estimating and material ordering experience preferred, but not required • Ability to travel locally • Ability to successfully complete a background check and drug screen • Must possess a valid driver’s license Physical and Work Environment Requirements: • Ability to regularly lift 50 pounds and ability to lift up to 100 pounds with assistance • Exposure to chemicals • Walking and standing for long periods of time, driving, sitting, climbing, • Ability to climb ladders and work at ceiling heights • Ability to work in tight spaces (e.g., crawls spaces under buildings) • Repetitive pushing/pulling/lifting/carrying objects All employees of a SERVPRO® Franchise are hired by, employed by, and under the sole supervision and control of an independently owned and operated SERVPRO® Franchise.
