Construction and Maintenance

We are looking for competent maintenance and construction person to assist with maintenance in our Apartment Community. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of upkeep and repair operations. An excellent maintenance person must be reliable and have a great eye for detail. They must have technical skills and knowledge of various crafts such as HVAC, Appliances, drywall, plumbing etc. The goal is to ensure that facilities are in a good and safe condition at all times. Responsibilities • Inspect facilities periodically to determine problems and necessary maintenance • Inspect and maintain building systems (heating, ventilation etc.) • Monitor inventory of materials and equipment • Ensure adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulations Skills Proven experience in maintenance or similar role • Strong technical knowledge of all building systems (electrical, heating etc.) • Knowledge of health and safety practices. • Excellent planning and leadership abilities • An eye for detail. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • High school diploma Job Type: Full-time Pay: $16.00 - $21.00 per hour Benefits: • Paid time off Work Location: In person
