Installer/Finish Carpenter

As an installer at The Organized Home, you will work on projects such as installing our custom closets, cabinetry, home offices, pantries, media centers, garage storage systems, and applying our concrete floor coatings. You'll travel short distances to job sites to work on projects, often working with 1 or 2 other installers (depending on the job.) Pay will be determined based on experience and position, the range is ~$20-$30 per hour. Hours are generally 7:30 am-3:30 p.m. Job Responsibilities: • Prepare materials, tools, and equipment for projects at warehouse or job sites • Drive company (sometimes personal) vehicles short distances (<30 mi) to job sites and to the business location • Interact with clients in a professional and friendly manner when at job sites • Work independently or with other installers, providing or taking instruction, direction, and support when necessary • Complete projects in a timely and efficient manner • Communicate project status, updates, and issues to the business owner • Maintain a clean workspace and dispose of excess materials in the warehouse and at job sites • Determine the materials and supplies necessary for projects, record the usage of supplies and materials during installation of projects • Adhere to all health and safety regulations when using tools and equipment • Ensure the proper usage and storage of any tools and equipment used Job Skills & Qualifications • High school degree or equivalent • Valid U.S. Driver's License & reliable form of transportation • Experience in construction/carpentry/related fields • Ability to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift up to 50 pounds Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour Benefits: • Flexible schedule • On-the-job training Schedule: • 8 hour shift • Day shift • Monday to Friday Work Location: In person
