Maintenance Technician/Carpenter

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various construction and maintenance tasks, demonstrating proficiency in carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, and general maintenance person skills. This role requires hands-on experience and the ability to work independently or as part of a team to ensure that all maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. Responsibilities • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on buildings and facilities, ensuring all systems are functioning properly. • Execute construction tasks including trim carpentry, frame carpentry, and fixture installation. • Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for various maintenance projects. • Conduct water damage restoration, mold remediation, and other restoration services as needed. • Install cabinetry, doors, siding, roofing, flooring, and tiles with precision. • Assist with heavy lifting tasks associated with construction projects. • Collaborate with team members on larger projects while maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Experience The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience: • Proven experience in construction, carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, or related fields. • Familiarity with construction estimating processes. • Experience in the restoration industry is highly desirable. • Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by specific tasks. • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work. • A proactive approach to safety on the job site.
