Experience The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience: • Proven experience in construction, carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, or related fields. • Familiarity with construction estimating processes. • Experience in the restoration industry is highly desirable. • Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by specific tasks. • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work. • A proactive approach to safety on the job site. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Ability to lift and carry 75 pounds; climb ladders, scaffold, and stairs; walk moderate distances, grasp, hold and operate tools, see and read instruments, service manuals and instructions. SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES: • Set up, operate, and maintain all types of equipment related to the carpentry trade in a safe and efficient manner. • Install and maintain building elements including but not limited to commercial roofing, flooring, ceilings, wall systems, doors, windows, hardware, cabinetry, and classroom equipment. • Order materials, plan, and lay out general carpentry or related items. • Maintain sufficient tools, in good repair, to perform assigned work. • Willing to perform overtime work if needed. • Perform other duties as assigned.
