Duties • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute project plans. • Perform framing tasks including metal stud framing, wood framing, and concrete forming with precision and efficiency. • Install doors, windows, cabinets, fixtures, siding, stucco, and other building components following specifications. • Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for cutting, shaping, assembling, and finishing materials. • Conduct trim carpentry work such as molding installation, baseboards, crown molding, and custom woodwork. • Engage in roofing activities including shingle installation and waterproofing measures. • Execute flooring installation including tile laying and other surface finishes. • Carry out plastering, drywall installation and finishing for interior walls. • Perform rebar installation for concrete projects and assist with concrete forming processes. • Support restoration projects by mold remediation, water damage repair, siding replacement, and general renovation tasks. • Fabricate custom components using woodworking or metalworking techniques as needed for specific project requirements. • Assist with heavy lifting and material handling to ensure safety standards are maintained throughout the job site. • Read schematics for electrical or plumbing systems when required for fixture installation or repairs. • Support team efforts in construction painting, caulking, fixture hanging, masonry work, plumbing repairs or upgrades as needed. • Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols at all times. Skills • Proven experience in construction estimating and project planning is a plus. • Extensive knowledge of carpentry disciplines including trim carpentry, frame carpentry, metal stud framing, roofing, siding, stucco application, drywall finishing, flooring installation (tile & wood), cabinet installation and door hanging. • Proficiency with hand tools (saws, hammers, chisels), power tools (drills, saws), CNC machinery (if applicable), and fabrication equipment. • Strong ability to read blueprints, schematics (electrical/plumbing), technical drawings and construction plans accurately. • Experience with concrete forming techniques and rebar installation for structural projects. • Familiarity with restoration industry practices such as mold remediation and water damage restoration is advantageous. • Knowledge of building codes related to masonry, electrical work or plumbing is beneficial but not mandatory. • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining physical stamina for demanding tasks over extended periods. • Skilled in working with various materials including woodwork (cabinetry & furniture), metal studs & framing materials; experienced in manufacturing processes related to construction components. • Excellent problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach to craftsmanship. • Strong communication skills for collaborating effectively with team members and understanding project schematics.
