.We are Hiring for welders in Fresno for a local client company. 1st shift available starting at 7am Mon- Fri. Pay starts at $18.00 depending on experience. (Must have previous work experience with welding) The job duties will include welding and assembly of trailers. Must have previous experience. Must be okay with doing heavy lifting up to 50lbs as needed. Must have Steel-toe work boots and welding equipment. Punctuality is important. Welder

OSHA 30 Certification is a plus a minimum of 2 year of work experience (school does not count towards experience). The Welder is responsible for operating MIG welding equipment, working primarily on securing job site equipment from theft or repairing damaged cabinets, cages, or other pieces of equipment. This job operates in both warehouse and remote (outside) environments.. Job duties • Performs welding repairs and applies basic welding processes • Performs preventive maintenance inspections, diagnostic and repair of equipment • Qualified in the welding processes such as MIG • Conducts safety checks on equipment • Fabrication - Must be creative • Performs service calls for securing mobile locations • Performs related work such as cutting, bending, and forming • Safely utilizes various metal shop tools including horizontal band saw, angle grinder, chop saw, die grinder, mag drill, manual pipe bender, and other metal working tools and equipment • Safely and effectively operates MIG welder to industry standards • Skilled at assessing repair viability of damaged or broken rental items, and repairing or repurposing as needed • Works from prints, drawings, and verbal instructions to create simple components and assemblies accurately and within tolerance • Manages workflow to ensure a clean and organized workplace. Cleans and organizes daily, or as needed to keep and maintain an organized and functional workspace • Consistent reporting of in-house inventory of shop consumables and materials to supervisor • Performs all work within Standard Repair Times • Performs standard layouts and set-ups of dimensions and tolerances • Utilizes standard hand tools, measuring devices and equipment • Performs other maintenance related work as required • Apply OSHA Standards to all jobs • Job Completion Reports (JCR) to be submitted to the Admin Department when job is done. • Provide updates of ongoing jobs to Supervisor and Admin Department as needed. • Availability for Emergency Response/On Call assignment when needed • Cross train on various duties such as HVAC and Electrical. Minimum requirements • High School Diploma or equivalent GED • AWS D1.1 Certification • 2+ years’ experience as a Welder • OSHA 30 Certificate is not mandatory but it is a plus • Must have a clean driving record/Background Check/Drug Test • Ability to pass a basic welding test • Basic math skills • Computer skills • Basic experience with hand tools • Able to understand and comprehend measurement • Able to read and interpret blueprints • Ability to work in remote location in outside environments Physical requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the Field Tech frequently is required to stand (sometimes for extended periods); walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms and lift up to 50 pounds. The team member may, at times, sit, bend, stoop, squat, reach overhead, or crawl (may be in confined spaces). The Field Tech is expected to perform repetitive tasks using their hands and have the ability to climb ladders.
