The Welder will utilize hand tools, welding machines, and measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers to ensure high-quality workmanship. Responsibilities • Build and assemble metal structures according to specifications and blueprints. • Operate welding equipment including MIG, TIG, and stick welders to join metal parts. • Use hand tools and machinery such as press brake machines and cranes for fabrication tasks. • Conduct inspections of completed work using calipers and micrometers to ensure accuracy. • Solder components as needed for assembly processes. • Maintain a clean and safe work environment on construction sites. • Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards. • Troubleshoot issues that arise during the welding process and make necessary adjustments. Qualifications • Proven experience as a Welder or in a similar role within the manufacturing or construction industry. • Proficiency in using various welding techniques and equipment. • Familiarity with hand tools and machinery relevant to welding tasks. • Strong attention to detail with the ability to read blueprints and technical drawings. • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. • Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor tasks associated with welding. • High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications in welding are a plus.
