Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating and assembling metal structures and components using various welding techniques. The Welder will utilize hand tools, welding machines, and measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers to ensure high-quality workmanship. Responsibilities • Build and assemble metal structures according to specifications and blueprints. • Operate welding equipment including MIG, TIG, and stick welders to join metal parts. • Use hand tools and machinery such as press brake machines and cranes for fabrication tasks. • Conduct inspections of completed work using calipers and micrometers to ensure accuracy. • Solder components as needed for assembly processes. • Maintain a clean and safe work environment on construction sites. • Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards. • Troubleshoot issues that arise during the welding process and make necessary adjustments. Qualifications • Proven experience as a Welder or in a similar role within the manufacturing or construction industry. • Proficiency in using various welding techniques and equipment. • Familiarity with hand tools and machinery relevant to welding tasks. • Strong attention to detail with the ability to read blueprints and technical drawings. • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. • Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor tasks associated with welding. • High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications in welding are a plus.
