Welders provide their own welding hood, but the company will provide any special PPE for special welding needs, welding gloves, and vests. We are seeking Sheet Metal Welders with the following experience to join our team! • ** MUST BE WILLING TO TRAVEL *** Job Responsibilities: • Technically skilled welder with good attention to detail. Will weld galvanized, aluminum, black iron, 304 and 316 stainless steel with TIG & MIG procedures • Utilize and interpret blueprints to determine how and where to fabricate, assemble and install sheet metal ductwork. • Use hand and power tools to trim, buff, smooth, file, and grind metal surfaces and joints of parts that have been assembled to ensure safety and a seamless appearance. • Install assemblies, including pipes, HVAC ductwork, exhaust stacks, etc. • Ensure that efficiency is maximized while fabricating and installing HVAC systems. • Verify the appropriate type and gauge of sheet metal to be used in projects according to specifications. • Ensure safety is a priority on the job during all activities, including using tools and installing and welding ductwork. Requirements: • Sheet metal ductwork welding and installation 5+ years • High school diploma or GED • Must pass a drug screen, background, and physical. • Basic math skills • Provide own welding hood and sheet metal ductwork tools.
