Job Description A Welder is responsible for completing the following duties: • Assemble, tack, and weld pre-fabricated steel parts into the finished sub-assembly • Read and interpret blueprint detail drawings and dimension styles • Prepare weld surfaces as required • Determine welder settings as required • Apply proper weld for given position and materials • Verify final weld penetration and aesthetics • Update paperwork to reflect any changes • Operate and maintain equipment safely – Welder, Ironworker, Band Saw, Drill Presses, and other equipment, as required • Follow safe operating and lifting procedures for jib overhead cranes • Operate forklift according to safe operating procedures, including acquisition and maintenance of training certificate • Other duties as assigned Qualifications • Equipment is operated safely • Assembly is completed according to planned schedule • Work meets all weld standards • Comfortable with change both process and product • Able to read blueprints • Read 1/8”, 1/16”, and 1/32” gradations on tape measure • Convert feet to inches and vice versa • Quick Learner • Follows direction • Capable of welding to 1G certification Expectations of Employees • Embrace Core Values: Serving Others, High Integrity, Strong Work Ethic, Culture of Opportunity & Long-Term Relationships • Maintain a clean and organized work area • Utmost attention to safety • Good attendance and punctuality • Concern for quality • Attention to detail Traits of Successful Employees • Desire to build long term relationships • Exhibition of good communication skills when working with fellow employees • Ability to tolerate physical demands of the position • Ability to complete tasks according to planned schedule • Willingness to help out where needed Employee Benefits • Weekly paycheck • Boot reimbursements up to $125 • Medical insurance - Covers 75% of premiums • Dental and vision insurance • Company paid life insurance • 401K retirement account with 5% company match • On the spot bonuses up to $100 Location: 9880 E Superior Ln, Prescott Valley, AZ 86314
