The ideal candidate will have a strong background in MIG welding, with experience in TIG welding preferred. This role is crucial to ensuring the quality and precision of our custom-designed audio carts, props, and other steel components. Key Responsibilities: - Welding & Fabrication: Perform MIG and, ideally, TIG welding on steel components, ensuring all work meets our high-quality standards. - Blueprint Reading: Accurately read and interpret blueprints to fabricate steel components according to specifications. - Cutting Steel: Utilize various tools and techniques to cut steel pieces to the required dimensions. - Quality Control: Maintain a high level of self-motivation to inspect and ensure the quality of all welds and fabrications. - Equipment Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain welding equipment to ensure optimal performance. - Workplace Cleanliness: Keep the workspace organized and clean, adhering to safety standards and protocols. Qualifications: - Welding Experience: Proven experience in MIG welding is required, with TIG welding experience strongly preferred. - Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues independently. - Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift heavy materials, stand for long periods, and work in various positions. - Use of CAD software is required.
