About the Role Welders are responsible to inspect and repair welds (as needed) to ensure quality parts, on time, the first time to meet or exceed our customer requirements, while supporting the Magna Employee’s Charter and the policies and procedures of BGM. Your Responsibilities Know and understand Bowling Green Metalforming Quality and Environmental policies. Perform other duties as required. Responsible for visual inspection (and repairs if needed) of all welds and weld quality. Perform minor repairs/adjustments to mig welders. Maintain integrity of weld quality to ensure finished product meets BGM standards. Maintain proper documentation of scrap and rework product. Follow Standard Operating Procedures established for each work station. Maintain integrity of quality to ensure finished product meets BGM standards, to include the changing of weld tips, wire spools, and cleaning of nozzles to ensure efficiency of weld robots.
