Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (include but are not limited to) • Read and interpret drawings and specifications to determine what material, tools, and equipment will be needed to complete tasks. • Cut, bevel, and prep pipe for welding. • Perform pipe fitting assembly per spool drawings holding correct welding gaps, dimensions, and fitting orientations. • Weld root, fill, and cap passes on pipe in any position in conformance to specified quality acceptance criteria. • Assemble and weld various structural steel products per drawing requirements. • Operates horizontal band saw, beveling machine, GMAW (MIG) and GTAW (TIG) welders, pipe positioners, electrostatic paint, and leak testing equipment. • Utilize specified personal protective equipment and safe work practices. • Must be able to handle stress and job demands. • Must be able to cooperatively work with others. Education and Experience: • High School diploma, GED, or equivalent, and two years related experience and/or training is required. Individuals may occasionally be exposed to hazardous conditions, high places and /or hazardous equipment. May work with or around chemicals that require knowledge of a safety data sheet.

We are seeking career oriented skilled technicians to perform fabrication, welding and assembly of high value aluminum molds. Job Description: - Required to stand, lift at least 75 lbs, bend, stoop, twist, and climb a minimum of 8 hours a day - Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings to cut, fit, form and fabricate metal components to specified tolerances. - Ability to set-up, operate and produce consistent, high quality appearance and structurally sound welds using MIG and TIG welders on aluminum in all positions - Ability to set up and operate plasma flame cutting torches - Ability to safely operate standard fabrication shop tools such as drill presses, hand and power tools such as grinders, sanders, drills, shears, etc. - Ability to read a measuring tape and perform basic math calculations related to reading a measuring tape - Rotational mold knowledge a plus and troubleshooting ability. -Ability to do preventive service maintenance on tooling and industrial machinery. - Maintains neat and clean work areas. PHYSICAL DEMANDS • While performing the duties of this job the employee is frequently required to walk; sit, talk and hear, stand, use hands; reach with hands and arms and climb or balance.
