Job Summary We are seeking a skilled MIG Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating and welding metal components in accordance with industry standards and project specifications. This role requires proficiency in MIG welding techniques, as well as the ability to work effectively on construction sites. The MIG Welder will collaborate with other team members to ensure high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety protocols. Duties • Fabricate and assemble metal structures using MIG welding techniques. • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine welding requirements. • Perform welding on various materials, including sheet metal, ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards. • Conduct inspections of welded joints to ensure quality and integrity of work performed. • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety regulations at all times. • Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve processes as needed. Experience • Proven experience as a MIG Welder in a construction or manufacturing environment is preferred. • Knowledge of relevant codes and standards related to welding practices. • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
