Certified Welder

Lyons Mechanical Services is hiring for a Certified Welder. Job Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: • Assemble and install a variety of metal and non-metal pipe including iron, steel, copper, and plastic using thermo weld, welded, caulked, soldered, brazed, fused or cemented joints • Accept responsibility for pipe systems (requiring certified welder) that complete systems are at, or above minimum certifiable standard as defined by knowledge, training, regulatory agency, and company policy • Weld pipe using appropriate welding equipment, materials, and procedures • Plan installation to avoid obstructions and interferences • Perform all other duties as assigned by field supervisor Qualifications: • High School Diploma or G.E.D. • Certified per Lyons Company welding procedures in: 2 1/2 " and over and 2" and under - Socket weld • Valid Driver's license Benefits: • Competitive Salary • Seven Paid Holidays • Affordable Group Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance • Company-Funded Retirement Program • Team Member Assistance Program • Optional, Employer-paid Life & AD&D Insurance • Continuing Education Opportunities About Us: Lyons Mechanical Services, a Fidelity Building Services Group company, delivers experience and expertise to design, construct, and service mechanical systems to meet customer expectations of performance, craftsmanship, and budget. Welder--2nd Shift

Aligns and welds components of metal tools, wires, fixtures and other metal products. May utilize different types of welding systems for different tasks. Maintains a safe work area and may train apprentices in the trade. Compensation for this role ranges from $25-28, prior to shift differential, which is an additional $1.00/hour.
