White Company has established a significant leadership position in the majority of markets it serves by delivering innovative products and quality services that meet the evolving needs of its customers. 1st Shift hours: 6:45 am - 3:15 pm Location: Onalaska, Wisconsin Job Requirements ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS • Sets up and performs spot and mig welding operations on standard subassemblies and products and performs mig welding operation on stainless steel. • Optimize and deliver raw materials for upcoming jobs, unloading parts from machine and stacks or move parts to secondary operation or staging area. • Checks conformance of finished parts to blueprints specifications. • Transfers finished subassemblies on pallets or stack pans for transfer to warehouse or production area; or hangs subassemblies on paint line for transfer to paint booth. • Performs daily maintenance on assigned machines, including dressing electrodes. • Miscellaneous responsibilities as assigned. REQUIREMENTS • Knowledge of mig and spot-welding machines and ability to set up and operate following all safety instructions. • Proficiency in Stainless Steel welding essential. (Will be tested on this) • Ability to read blueprints and use tape measure and other related measuring equipment. • Ability to lift parts as required up to 50 lbs., and ability to use material handling equipment including floor jacks. • Ability to stand for required periods of time. • Basic Mathematical skills. • Good parts and product knowledge. ACCOUNTABILITY Responsible for the efficient and accurate completion of all assigned functions; meeting all production, quality, safety and company standards. Reports to Machine Shop/Welding dept.
