We understand the importance of family and strive to have a team environment within the whole company. We are looking for an experienced Fabricator/Welder to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating/welding of structural steel and miscellaneous metal , interpreting/reading blueprints with attention to detail, ability to work independently and follow instructions accurately. Will have the ability to cross train with all of our machines/equipment with in our plant. ATTENDANCE IS CRUCIAL. Must be able to pass drug test. Wage is starting pay with 30, 60, 90 day reviews. Responsibilities: • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings in detail, by use of tablet. • Operate a variety of welding equipment and tools. • Maintain a clean and safe work environment. • Inspect finished products for accuracy and quality. JOB DESCRIPTION: To perform all kinds of welding and cutting using gas and electric welding equipment. 1st shift, 2nd shift, and weekend shift available with primary need for 2nd shift. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: • Meets all essential functions and qualifications. • Performs in and out of position welding. • Performs hand fabricating. • Participate in weld lab classroom training for Trane, ASME and/or PED certifications as needed. • Work involves considerable stooping, bending, and working on overhead assembles and on man lifts/platforms/risers/ladders. • Will be required to lift up to 35 pounds. • Receives work instructions from a member of management or a team lead. • Must be able to follow standard work, complete production and maintenance records and other documentation related to operations. • Must participate in basic problem solving, 5-S, and lean activities. • Must demonstrate the ability to perform the above duties with no additional training required. • Meet and maintain all safety requirements. • Perform other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Completion of formal welding program or equivalent on the job experience 2. Demonstrated reliability 3. Weld Process: Be able to qualify in 2F, 2G, 3F, 3G, and/or 4F position 4. Ability to read engineering prints and weld symbols, as well as using basic measuring tools such as tape measures and levels PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: 1. Experience welding in an industrial setting with ASME welding standard requirements 2. Experience in fitment of complex and heavy parts prior to welding 3. Prioritized experience in the following weld capabilities: a. Pulsed MIG Welding b. MIG welding c. Stick welding d. TIG welding 4. Welders with ability to join Steel to steel, steel to stainless, aluminum, and other materials Pay and Benefits: Starting pay $28.42 Second Shift and Weekend Shift Premium Vacation – Upon completion of probationary period.
