Welder Fabricator - Direct Hire, 1st Shift! $20-28/hour!

Welder Fabricator needed in Green Bay, WI! Direct Hire! Trillium Staffing is currently recruiting for a Welder Fabricator who is looking for a long-term opportunity to grow with the company! The Welder Fabricator will be reading routine to complex blueprints and shop drawings to make products per customer specs. You will be responsible for various types of weld preparations, welding, assembly, quality checks and weld finishing operations to complete custom products in a job shop environment. This is a full-time, direct hire opportunity, with a well-established custom job shop in the Green Bay area. The standard 1st shift hours are Monday - Friday 6:00am - 2:00pm, with flexibility. Welder - Structural

Job Title: Structural Welder Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Structural Welder to join our clients team. This position is responsible for fabricating, assembling, and welding structural components according to blueprints, specifications, and safety standards. The ideal candidate will bring precision, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team. Key Responsibilities: • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols. • Perform MIG, TIG, and/or Stick welding on structural steel and other metals. • Set up welding equipment, tools, and materials for accurate project execution. • Lay out, position, align, and secure parts and assemblies using fixtures, clamps, and measuring tools. • Inspect welds for quality and compliance; perform necessary repairs. • Operate grinders, torches, and other fabrication tools for weld preparation and finishing. • Follow all safety procedures, including PPE usage and safe material handling. • Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet project deadlines. • Maintain welding equipment and report any maintenance needs. Qualifications: • High school diploma or GED required; technical training or apprenticeship preferred. • Minimum 2 years of structural welding experience in industrial, construction, or manufacturing settings. • Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and/or Stick welding processes. • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols. • Strong knowledge of OSHA safety protocols and regulations. • Physical ability to lift heavy materials, stand, bend, and work in various positions for extended periods. • Welding certification (AWS, ASME, or equivalent) preferred. Working Conditions: • Work performed in shop and/or outdoor construction environments. • Exposure to heat, sparks, loud noise, and varying weather conditions. • Required use of PPE, including helmet, gloves, safety glasses, and protective clothing.
