Job Profile The company is hiring a Maintenance Millwright who will ensure the successful operation of the facility by resolving mechanical issues, recommending alternative repairs and equipment upgrades, identifying quality concerns, setting equipment in a precision state, and understanding the production threshold of the equipment. Educational Qualification • No education level is mentioned, yet applicants may be required a High School Diploma/GED Work Experience • Possess 5 years or more of experience working in a mechanical maintenance position within a manufacturing, industrial, or military environment • Experience in precision maintenance practices such as lubrication, alignment techniques, and precision measuring • Experience reading and understanding mechanical drawings • Experience troubleshooting issues with bearings, chains, sprockets, gearboxes, and conveyors • Experience using a cutting torch and welding with an arc welder • Experience working with hydraulic and pneumatic systems Duties/Responsibilities • Adhere to all plant safety and environmental guidelines, policies, and procedures and actively participate in a safety program • Help meet or exceed production and quality goals while optimizing equipment to reduce waste • Install and align new equipment • Maintain accurate maintenance logs including labor hours and critical preventative maintenance findings • Maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations including wearing safety equipment • Perform periodic maintenance routines including lubricating machine tools and equipment for improved reliability and uptime • Perform precession repairs on all equipment • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial machinery • Work with the operations and maintenance teams to identify and prioritize maintenance needs Credible Qualifications • 2-year technical degree or higher in Industrial Maintenance Technology or a similar program • Leadership experience in a manufacturing company with a focus on mechanical and reliability maintenance • Lean Six Sigma certification Skills/Knowledge/Abilities • Work any shift, on-call, holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed Benefits/Perks • The benefits plan includes medical, dental, vision, flexible spending and health savings accounts, life insurance, ADD, disability, retirement, paid vacation/time off, and educational assistance, and may also include infertility assistance, paid parental leave, and adoption assistance.
