Job Profile The company is looking for a Welder I/II who should be capable of safely performing welding-related tasks using the Gas Tungsten Arc Welding method by the requirements of ASME Sec. IX, the European Pressure Equipment Directive (PED), and internal specifications. Produce welds that pass destructive and non-destructive testing based on certification requirements. Also, maintain welding certifications and qualifications per product requirements. The company has on-the-job training available and work immediately available for those with TIG experience. Educational Qualification • Applicants may be required a High School Diploma • Completion of a welding certificate program Work Experience • 1 year of welding experience, completion of welding classes • TIG experience Duties/Responsibilities • Weld production pieces and prototype instrumentation parts of various materials including stainless steel, and precious and semi-precious metals using various types of welding processes which may include TIG or MIG. • Operates programmable welding machines to weld production units, and sets up fixtures, and lays out work for production and prototype units.
