In addition to the oversight of the work team, they are also required to personally work on project tasks as a functioning team member. They need to be able to perform all functions of the project so they can train and work with each member to improve the work team’s performance over time. Duties/Responsibilities: Welding Team Coordination & Execution Accountable to drive and ensure that the team and individuals execute project schedules daily. Production Welding Work Accountable to perform individual Welding work to contribute to the team’s goals and objectives. This includes set up of tools, stations, materials, welding, preventative maintenance, and quality control. Work Team/Individual Training and Development Accountable for the direct training and development for team members to increase the work team’s capability to meet project metrics and schedules. Team Safety & Quality Assurance Continuously improve procedures, processes, and methods in the work team to ensure safety/quality with zero injuries and zero quality issues. Continuous Improvement Accountable to drive continuous improvement efforts regarding work team and individual production practices, principles, and processes. Previous Experiences/Background: This job is considered medium to heavy work in nature with occasional heavy tasks. Maximum lifting of up to 100 pounds with frequent lifting of weights up to 50 pounds. Typically standing and walking for 6 hours out of an 8-hour day. The frequency of the tasks depends on the type of shift, weather conditions and changes to the indoor environment (which cannot always be predicted or controlled).
