Lead Welder/ Fabricator

Job description High Country Industrial Corp (HCI) Welding Lead Role Posting Initial Entry: High Country Industrial Corp Welding Lead Main Role Posting Content: The Welding Lead is responsible for the daily coordination of work team performance to ensure that daily schedules are on-time with zero quality and safety incidents. In addition to the oversight of the work team, they are also required to personally work on project tasks as a functioning team member. They need to be able to perform all functions of the project so they can train and work with each member to improve the work team’s performance over time. Pay & Benefits: High Country Industrial Corp is offering a starting competitive hourly wage of $22.00 - $35.00 depending on experience. Duties/Responsibilities: Welding Team Coordination & Execution Accountable to drive and ensure that the team and individuals execute project schedules daily. Production Welding Work Accountable to perform individual Welding work to contribute to the team’s goals and objectives. This includes set up of tools, stations, materials, welding, preventative maintenance, and quality control. Work Team/Individual Training and Development Accountable for the direct training and development for team members to increase the work team’s capability to meet project metrics and schedules. Team Safety & Quality Assurance Continuously improve procedures, processes, and methods in the work team to ensure safety/quality with zero injuries and zero quality issues. Continuous Improvement Accountable to drive continuous improvement efforts regarding work team and individual production practices, principles, and processes. Previous Experiences/Background: This job is considered medium to heavy work in nature with occasional heavy tasks. Maximum lifting of up to 100 pounds with frequent lifting of weights up to 50 pounds. Typically standing and walking for 6 hours out of an 8-hour day. The frequency of the tasks depends on the type of shift, weather conditions and changes to the indoor environment (which cannot always be predicted or controlled). Welder/ Millwright

Job Title: Welder/Millwright Location: Cheyenne, Wyoming Company: Interstate Power Systems Welders/Millwrights fulfill a critical role in our operations. We are currently seeking certified and non-certified welders for our Industrial division that supports mining, oil and gas, power generation, and processing customers. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing welding duties as well as mechanical maintenance tasks associated with machinery and equipment in industrial settings. Welder/Millwright Job Responsibilities: • Plant maintenance, crusher rebuilds, conveyor repairs, and various welding repairs/projects. • Welding repairs to large mining equipment including shovels, draglines, haul trucks. • Fabrication according to prints • Experience with stick and wire feed (dual shield) preferred as well as experience with hard wire and hard facing. • Positive interface with service writers, foreman, parts department, and customers • Keep paperwork updated and handed in upon completion. • Experience reading blueprints, with 2 years’ experience. • Field Boring experience a plus Welder/Millwright Requirements: • High school degree or G.E.D. • Must have at least 3-year welding experience • Must have your own set of general tools. • Technical degree or certification a plus • Must be physically able to lift at least 50 pounds and work with no restrictions.
