Minimum Job Requirements: · 3+ years’ experience with GMAW-MC, GMAW & FCAW welding fabricating skids with structural I-beam and channel · Pass 1G bend test on 1/2" plate GMAW root and GMAW-MC fill and cap · Pre-employment drug test is required Job Responsibilities: · Fabricate to AWS D1.1 · Inspect dimensional requirements and welds prior to QA/QC inspection. · Able to fabricate off of blueprints with little or no help. · Work in a safe and efficient manner. · Report to shop Foreman on any issues/problems that arise and work with them to resolve issues in a timely manner. · Work with shop foreman and laborers on a daily basis, communication is imperative. • Read and fully comprehend blueprints, bill of materials, customer specifications, weld procedures, and written and verbal instructions. • Maintain a high level of production with little to no rework. • Ability to read a tape measure and fabricate products within 0.00" tolerance. • Operate a variety of hand and power tools including but not limited to tape, string line, square, level, saws, grinders, drills, welders, and overhead cranes. • Maintain a clean and safe working area. • Willingness to be flexible with job duties. Must be available to work overtime, 60+ hours a week may be required at times.
