In order to make this a reality, we need hardworking, motivated achievers to join our growing team. Job Description You will be working as a vital member of a solar installation team. You will be a part of teams installing photovoltaic solar arrays at residential homes, commercial properties, and municipal buildings. While working on a wide variety of roof and ground mount solar system types and designs, you will be utilizing the best installation and safety practices in the industry, all while learning about how photovoltaic systems utilize the sun’s energy to produce clean reliable energy for our clients. As a Solar Technician/Apprentice, you will also play a crucial role in the maintenance, and repair of solar energy systems and electrical infrastructure. You will work alongside a team of skilled professionals to ensure the safe and efficient installation & operation of solar panels, inverters, batteries, EV chargers, generators, MEP upgrades, transformers and other electrical equipment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth of renewable energy. As a Solar Energy Installer, You will: ● Help prepare installation sites ● Assemble solar racking and solar arrays ● Install roof-mounted & ground-mounted solar systems ● Assist with trenching, and equipment assembly Qualifications We’re seeking a motivated team player, with: ● Ability to learn quickly, follow instructions, and know when to ask questions ● Problem solving skills to assist with diagnosing problems, repairing, or replacing existing equipment ● Passion for success and eagerness to learn ● Experience working outdoors is preferred but not required ● Comfortable working with heights or working on pitched roofs. ● Ability to regularly lift up to 50 pounds ● Construction-related experience preferred but not required ● Professional appearance along with respectful and basic client & coworker communication skills ● Associates degree or bachelor’s degree preferred but not required ● Ability to provide your own reliable transportation ● Experience with telehandlers, skid steers, trenching, electrical, and framing preferred but not required. ● OSHA10 & OSHA30 preferred but not required Absolute Solar offers excellent career advantages, and opportunities to enroll in an electrical apprentice program, along with time and performance-based pay increases, and the opportunity to be a part of a young but rapidly growing and evolving company in an industry primed for rapid expansion. Traveling Project Manager - Solar Energy

POSITION SUMMARY Barton Malow Company is seeking Traveling Project Managers to join our team on renewable energy / solar projects throughout the Great Lakes Region. These positions will report to our teams in Southfield, MI and Grandville, MI. This role involves overseeing project quality, compliance, budgets, and schedules. This role requires a 4-year degree in engineering or construction management, 5-7 years of relevant professional experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and a proactive commitment to safety. Travel is expected as part of the role, as the project manager will be fully on-site at the project location. Regular travel to project sites across MI, OH, IN, and WI will be required. KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: • Ensure all work is installed and documented per project quality standards. • Ensure construction is in compliance with client and company policies, procedures, and standards. • Plan, coordinate, and/or manage activities of all company personnel and subcontractors on assigned project(s). • Manage and assist in internal and subcontractor: estimates, prepare and review project proposals or plans to determine and establish a time frame, work plan, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing the project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of the project as required. • Coordinate the processing of and provide review of submittals and verify compliance with project design. • Manage and assist in project budgets required for work. • Manage and assist in the project control requirements for the project. • Support the weekly and monthly project reports. • Assist, oversee and in some cases be directly involved in the preparation of plans, technical specifications, technical reports, submittals, and construction period services. • Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials to the job site by working directly with vendors and subcontractors. • Supporting the compiling of all turnover documentation to be included in turnover dossier including O&M manuals as required. • Provide advice, guidance, mentoring, and direction to subordinates and other project personnel toward the achievement of their personal development goals. • Support and participate in company-sponsored initiatives and activities. • Liaising with Client to ensure client satisfaction based on contractual requirements. REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES • Solar or Wind market project experience highly preferred. • 4-year Engineering, Construction Management or related degree. • 5-8 years of relevant professional experience. • The ideal candidate will be organized and excel at multitasking while being able to work effectively at performing repetitive tasks while maintaining a high level of concentration. • Excellent oral and written communication skills. • Experience leading a team of construction staff, subcontractors, engineers/designers. • Must be able to work as a team player, independently and learn quickly in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment. • OSHA 30 Hour preferred. • Proactive positive attitude with commitment to safety. • Must be able to travel regularly to project sites across the Great Lakes Region***.
