What you'll do: The Senior NERC Regulatory Compliance Analyst will implement NERC compliance activities for NorthStar Clean Energy's solar generation facilities. Evaluate the relevance of requirements appropriate for each plant relating to topics such as inverter's or generator operation, plant protection systems, substation and transmission interconnections • Provide subject matter expertise and support for the compliance of NERC regulatory standards with a primary focus on Protection and Control (PRC), Facilities Design, Connection and Maintenance (FAC), Transmission Planning (TPL), Transmission Operations (TOP), Modeling Data and Analysis (MOD), and Voltage and Reactive power(VAR) • Lead the on-site interpretation, education and the implementation of NERC regulatory standards and their requirements. Ensure each facility's regulatory compliance through the coordination and evaluation of testing, modeling, condition assessment, maintenance activities and procedure/process implementation • Conduct analysis of plant processes, testing results, reliability condition and equipment configuration to determine if it meets the regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of site maintenance and repairs to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
