Senior NERC Regulatory Compliance Analyst - Solar Plants - NorthStar Clean Energy

What you'll do: The Senior NERC Regulatory Compliance Analyst will implement NERC compliance activities for NorthStar Clean Energy's solar generation facilities. This person is considered the site's subject matter expert of the NERC regulatory standards that are applicable to Generator Owners and Generator Operators. Provide management, oversight, direction, coordination for the implementation of NERC compliance activities that relate to equipment testing, configuration, operations, reliability, system protection, and other various electrical analyses. This position is designed to provide compliance coordination and implementation of policies and procedures at solar generation facilities. As a key member of the operations compliance team, this candidate will have a primary role in solar generation reliability and regulatory compliance at NSCE's existing facilities and also provide NERC related commissioning oversight of new facilities. Duties & Responsibilities: • Evaluate, interpret and mange the implementation of compliance processes and procedures related to NERC regulatory standards/requirements. Evaluate the relevance of requirements appropriate for each plant relating to topics such as inverter's or generator operation, plant protection systems, substation and transmission interconnections • Provide subject matter expertise and support for the compliance of NERC regulatory standards with a primary focus on Protection and Control (PRC), Facilities Design, Connection and Maintenance (FAC), Transmission Planning (TPL), Transmission Operations (TOP), Modeling Data and Analysis (MOD), and Voltage and Reactive power(VAR) • Lead the on-site interpretation, education and the implementation of NERC regulatory standards and their requirements. Ensure each facility's regulatory compliance through the coordination and evaluation of testing, modeling, condition assessment, maintenance activities and procedure/process implementation • Conduct analysis of plant processes, testing results, reliability condition and equipment configuration to determine if it meets the regulatory requirements. Implement the necessary procedure/process changes through plant management. Oversee and coordinate activities such as testing, evaluations, modeling and reporting as needed • Prepare, track, manage and analyze records as compliance evidence. Communicate with the regulators regarding technical analysis and modeling reports, information submittals, forms and data bases. Solar Farm Maintenance Coordinator

About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Solar Farm Maintenance Coordinator to join our team at Apex Clean Energy. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of site maintenance and repairs to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime. Key Responsibilities: • Maintenance Coordination: Schedule and coordinate all planned and unplanned substation maintenance outages and repairs. • Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine visual inspections of the substation, collection system, padmount transformers, and junction boxes. • Regulatory Compliance: Maintain regulatory compliance with all Federal, state, and local regulations and associated permits. • Supply Chain Management: Arrange to procure subcontractors, spare parts, and consumables required for BOP Scheduled and Unscheduled Maintenance.
