In support of its involvement, BEO uses sophisticated estimating and scheduling systems to assist projects in developing bis proposals, equipment lease versus purchase analysis, tool and consumable utilization forecasts, scaffold estimating and supply, and overall construction fleet utilization plans. Headquartered in Sugar Land, Texas, BEO also manages several permanent global equipment storage and support facilities. Project Overview: This position is a field position located at assigned solar project within the United States and will support equipment and tools management. Job Summary: In this role, the successful candidate will provide on-site project support with daily equipment challenges. Candidate will perform audits, assist with product training. Position will be supported by BEO home office including site visits and all necessary training from Sugar Land based employees. The primary intent of the BEO Solar Equipment & Tool Manager is support and aid all craft on the project. It is service orientated operation that will help minimize delivery times, ensure equipment is properly received, help standardize products being used on site, and to expedite deliveries in the timeliest manner possible. #LI-TH1 Major Responsibilities: • Understands equipment warranties, performance guarantees, and equipment fitness for use. • Knowledge of multi-discipline construction and/or operating functions. • Knowledge of safety requirements and practices. • Knowledge of heavy-industrial equipment management work processes and procedures. • Knowledge of small tools and consumables program operations and management. • Knowledge of small tools, consumables, rigging, and safety materials commonly utilized during construction. • Proficient in organizing tasks for completion by an agreed deadline. • Experience in automated systems; intermediate proficiency in the use of the Microsoft suite applications, particularly database and scheduling applications. • Advanced experience as database administrator. • Basic knowledge of asset management. • Intermediate knowledge in material and quality control. • Advanced knowledge of Production Management (PEMS, Tool Utilization, and Three Week Look Ahead Schedule). • On one or more projects, performs the duties for coordination of activities related to the area of responsibility and interfaces with all other operating sections of the jobsite. • Regional or multi-project responsibility for coordination and reporting of all assigned regional projects and coordination with fleet manager and fleet service manager. • Excellent customer relations and communication skills. Education and Experience Requirements: • 5 to 10 years of related construction industry experience. • Intermediate proficiency in the use of the Microsoft suite applications, particularly database and scheduling applications. • Advanced experience as database administrator. Required Knowledge and Skills: • AEMP Equipment Management Specialist (EMS) certification preferred. • Planning and schedule experience preferred. • General construction equipment knowledge preferred. • Financial background preferred.
