We are seeking a skilled and motivated Commercial Solar Installer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience installing photovoltaic (PV) systems on commercial buildings and will be responsible for ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency throughout the installation process. This role plays a critical part in delivering high-performance solar energy systems that meet design specifications and customer expectations. ⸻ Key Responsibilities: • Install photovoltaic (PV) systems on commercial rooftops, ground mounts, and carports according to project plans and specifications • Interpret layout drawings, electrical diagrams, and construction documents • Mount solar modules, panels, and support structures in accordance with industry standards and local code • Perform trenching, conduit runs, wire pulls, terminations, and equipment mounting • Assist licensed electricians with interconnection of solar PV systems to the electrical grid • Ensure compliance with all company safety procedures, OSHA regulations, and local building codes • Conduct basic troubleshooting and testing of solar systems to verify proper operation • Maintain cleanliness and organization of job sites, tools, and vehicles • Work collaboratively with team members, foremen, and project managers to meet project deadlines • Document work progress and report any issues or delays to supervisors ⸻ Qualifications: • 1–3 years of commercial solar installation experience preferred • Basic knowledge of electrical wiring and construction practices • Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings • Comfortable working at heights and in various weather conditions • Strong attention to detail, safety, and quality • Ability to lift 50+ lbs., bend, stoop, and stand for long periods • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record • OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred • NABCEP PV Installer Certification is a plus ⸻ Working Conditions: • Work is performed outdoors in various environments including rooftops and open job sites • May require travel to project locations throughout the region • Must be able to work overtime and weekends when needed to meet project deadlines ——— Compensation: $20-$45 houly based on experiance abd skill Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20.00 - $45.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: • Dental insurance • Health insurance • Life insurance • Paid time off • Vision insurance Schedule: • 8 hour shift Supplemental Pay: • Overtime pay Work Location: In person
