Solar Foreman

-SOLAR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED- SunVena is looking for a highly motivated candidate for a Foreman role. We are looking for a motivated Foreman to lead a residential Solar Crew. Duties of the Foreman include installation and commissioning of PV systems, providing funding requirements and site photos, maintaining an inventory, team management and safety compliance. The ideal candidate should have solar experience, a good attitude and pride in their work. If you have previous experience in PV installation, we’d like to meet you. Ultimately, a successful Foreman will join us in our effort to deliver the premier customer experience in solar installations. Key Responsibilities: • Comfortable working with a high degree of attention to detail and discretion as well as incorporating new and effective ways to achieve better results. • Coordinating daily tasks according to priorities and plans, making changes when necessary due to weather, supply, delivery and personnel • Delegating individual responsibilities and projects to crew members and contractors • Training, managing and mentoring employees and contractors • Providing adequate resources and staffing to meet project schedules, laws, regulations, best practices and safety needs • Emphasizing safe use of tools, machinery and equipment while providing training on safety gear, helmets and procedures • Developing and managing project budgets and quality standards for all sites • Resolving conflicts or miscommunications quickly and amicably • Regularly reporting project status to supervisors, site engineers and other officials • Maintain trusting relationships with suppliers, customers and colleagues Qualifications • Must have excellent written and verbal skills to communicate with city employees, fellow team members, clients, and vendors. • Must show a high level of attention to detail. • Proven experience in an office or other administrative assistant role or experience in a forward facing customer service position, in-person and via phone. • Proficiency in Microsoft suite, google workplace & utilizing CRM’s • Analytical abilities with a drive for problem solving. Preferred skills: • Basic office administrative knowledge • Understanding of solar PV equipment and installation standards • Basic knowledge of residential electrical and structural systems • Experience in solar installations • Valid Driver's License • Bilingual English & Spanish preferred Computer Skills: • Proficient with computers and the following applications: Microsoft Word, Excel & GoogleSuite As part of our hiring process, we require all potential employees to undergo a drug test.
