Responsibilities: As a Plumber, you must have technical knowledge and experience. Specific duties include: • Install, repair and maintain: • plumbing systems and components • water treatment equipment, piping and controls • underground storm sanitary and water piping systems • water heaters and conditioners • plumbing fixtures, appliances and trim • Review building plans and specifications to determine the layout for plumbing and related materials • Identify required tools and special equipment • Select the type and size of pipe required • Locate and mark positions for connections and fixtures • Install supports and hangers for pipe, fixtures and equipment • Assemble and install valves and fittings • Test pipe systems and fixtures for leaks Requirements: As a Plumber, you will combine technical expertise with a personable, approachable, and helpful personality. You must also be highly detail-oriented and focused with a flexible and adaptable nature. It is also important that you display excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills as well as a commitment to providing the best and most responsive customer service.
