REQUIREMENTS • Two years of experience in construction and expertise in commercial restoration. • Must be able to stand and sit for extended periods. Must be able to climb and balance on equipment, ladders, and scaffolding. • Must be able to lift more than 50 pounds. • Must have a valid driver’s license or valid State ID. • Must pass a criminal background check. Although they are not responsible for producing large jobs, depending on their skill set, they may perform some or all the following: rough and finish carpentry, drywall, paint, prefinished hardwood, and laminate flooring. Key Responsibilities • Provide project updates (daily narrative) to Construction Coordinator in electronic format. • Schedule project with Construction Manager/Construction Coordinator. • Perform construction services as required • Pick up and deliver material supplies and/or manage material deliveries. • Effectively communicate safety hazards, job site findings, equipment, and tool requirements for the worksite with supervisors. • Ensure all work performed complies with the plans, specifications, local codes, and requirements of the scope of work. • Document all project activities including photos, job diary, and signing documents using the ManageIT Mobile app. Position Requirements • Valid driver's license • Willingness to work occasional on-call shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. • Previous experience in restoration, construction, or a related field is preferred. • IICRC or OSHA certification is a plus. Construction Technician (Entry-Level)

What You'll Do No experience required and all training and certifications are provided! • **Starting pay of $18 - $20 per hour*** ECS Limited is offering a unique opportunity for a talented Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Field Technician to join our Myrtle Beach team and advance in a dynamic work environment. No prior experience is needed, as you'll work under the guidance of experienced professionals to learn to safely perform a variety of tasks. Responsibilities • Field Activities: Conduct observation, testing, and sampling of materials, including soils, aggregates, and concrete on construction materials testing project sites; Execute tasks based on project requirements under the guidance of senior technicians, staff professionals, and project managers. • Testing Procedures: Conduct routine field and/or laboratory tests for soils, aggregates, and concrete using various methodologies and testing equipment following industry standards and compliance. • Data Collection: Perform calculations and data reduction based on sampling, test results, and inspection; May assist with calculations, drafting, and other administrative duties as requested. • Communication: Maintain daily communication with site contractors, fellow technicians, and project managers; Communicate changing site conditions and additional requested testing to supervisor; Attend project meetings as requested; Assist with organization of field equipment and notify supervisor of broken or missing equipment as needed. • Training and Development: Receive training in ECS methodology for project observations, inspections, and testing; Document findings with precision in accordance with accepted engineering practices.
