Construction Laborer – Pool Construction Company: Backyard Oasis Pools Job Type: Full-Time Pay: $15–$22 per hour (based on experience) Job Description Backyard Oasis Pools is looking for a reliable Construction Laborer to join our pool construction team. No experience is required — we are willing to train the right person. This is a hands-on job working outdoors and helping with all parts of building swimming pools. Responsibilities • Assist crew with daily pool construction tasks • Move and load materials • Use hand tools and equipment (training provided) • Help with digging, plumbing, steel work, and general labor • Keep the jobsite clean and organized • Follow safety guidelines and directions from supervisors Requirements • No experience necessary — we will train • Must be able to lift 50+ lbs • Ability to work outdoors in all weather • Reliable transportation • Good attitude and willingness to learn • Able to work well with a team Schedule • Monday–Friday • Start time: 8:30 AM Benefits • Steady, year-round work • Training provided • Opportunity to grow within the company Pay: $15.00 - $22.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: • Company truck • On-the-job training • Tools provided Work Location: In person

What You'll Do At Monteith Spend your summer with us at Monteith Construction in Myrtle Beach! This role can be customizable, depending on the student’s interests. Some of the things you will be involved with, but not limited to, are: • Observe Owner/Architect/Contractor Meetings • Observe Preinstall and Pull Meetings • Gain a general overview of our Scheduling, VDC, Accounting, Marketing, Business Development, Preconstruction and Estimating processes • Help to ensure on-site safety as well as compliance with all company policies and procedures • Support the project management team with subcontractor and supplier coordination, material tracking, file management, document control (submittals, RFIs, and change orders), and progress reporting • Interact with trade partners and vendors regarding technical and contractual matters Experience You Should Have • Must currently be enrolled in an accredited college or university and seeking a degree in a related field/construction management program • Proficient in Microsoft Office • Problem-solving and critical thinking skills • Ability to communicate effectively and concisely, both verbally and in writing Required to Thrill at Monteith • No Brilliant Jerks.
