Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Construction Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in various construction tasks, ensuring projects are completed efficiently and to high standards. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with others on-site. Requirements Employee will be required to assist in the following tasks: • Concrete foundations and flatwork • Framing • Siding • Interior finish work Employee must be capable of: • Following instructions • Maneuvering objects up to 80 lbs with assistance. • Being punctual and alert at all times on the job. • Transporting themselves to and from job sites in both the Port Angeles and Sequim areas. Carpenter

Fabricates, constructs, and repairs structural woodwork and wood products by following blueprints, drawings, and oral instructions; using carpentry tools and equipment. Duties: • Produces carpentry products and services by following standards and procedures; measuring results against standards; making necessary adjustments. • Determines material requirements and dimensions of structure or fixture to be fabricated by studying blueprints, sketches, or building plans. • Maintains carpentry supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies. • Prepares layout by following carpentry procedures for fabrication of counters, cabinets, benches, partitions, floors, doors, and building framework and trim, using rule, framing square, and calipers. • Constructs, repairs, and installs structure or fixture by marking cutting and assembly lines on materials; shaping materials to measurements; assembling and fastening cut and shaped materials; using carpenter's hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery. • Ensures construction quality by verifying trueness of structure with plumb bob, carpenter's level, and other measurements. • Complies with federal, state, and local building codes by adhering to requirements; advising management on needed actions. • Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. • Conserves carpentry resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results. • Ensures operation of carpentry equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs; maintaining equipment inventories; evaluating new equipment and techniques. • Provides carpentry information by answering questions and requests. • Maintains continuity among carpentry work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs. • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Boiler/Kiln Supervisor

Boiler/Kiln Supervisor , Port Angeles , Washington When you join our team as a Boiler/Kiln Supervisor , you will be responsible for the reliable and efficient operation of the Dry Kilns, coordinating production schedules between the sawmill-planer and shipping. You will assist in the development of sales forecasts and managing the flow of lumber inventory through the division. What You'll Do • Provide direct supervision of employees to support the kiln drying, boiler and lumber yard operations. • Lead improvements in safety, compliance, productivity, and quality in the lumber drying process. • Analyze data from kilns and boiler to drive continuous improvement in the kiln and boiler operation(s) • Supervise the drying and storing operations of in-process lumber products • Schedule forklift drivers for 24/7 kiln operations including building kilns, offloading kilns and custom dry inventory movement. • Provide training and direction of kiln loading and offloading to maintain quality, improve drying and prevent lumber damage. • Maintain lumber flow through the dry kilns to meet production schedules and prevent damage from weather conditions • Assist with the coordination between sales and production groups to develop production schedule for the sawmill, kilns, and planer. • Assist with the dry end team schedules planer production and to develop the lumber sales forecast. • Manages rough yard inventories and handling • Coordinates custom drying requirements and logistics involved with moving lumber between sites What You Offer • Minimum 1-3 years of Sawmill/Planer operation experience. • Minimum 1 years of supervisory experience • Computer expertise required and proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel) is required • Knowledge of lumber manufacturing including equipment, processes and products • Prior kiln drying a plus • Basic understanding of safety rules and regulations is required • Strong organizational and leadership skills • Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a highly interactive team environment • Detail and results oriented • Forklift operating experience (15,000# or greater) • Ability to think tactically and strategically Who We Are Interfor is a growth-oriented forest products company, operating in all major forest products markets across North America.
