About the Role: We are seeking a reliable and motivated individual to join our residential concrete foundation crew. This is a hands-on position with opportunities for individuals of all skill levels, from entry-level to experienced professionals. The ideal candidate is a hard worker who is eager to learn and grow within the concrete industry. You will be an integral part of a team responsible for constructing high-quality concrete foundations for new residential homes. Responsibilities: • Form Building: • Construct and set up concrete forms using various materials and tools. • Accurately measure, cut, and assemble forms, requiring a strong understanding of tape measures and skill saws. • Pack forms with concrete to ensure stability and proper curing. • Concrete Work: • Assist with pouring, spreading, and finishing concrete. • Operate and maintain a variety of hand and power tools. • Learn and apply techniques for achieving a smooth and durable finish. • Blueprint Reading: • Read and interpret construction blueprints and plans to ensure accurate form layout and concrete placement. • On-Site Operations: • Maintain a clean and safe work environment. • Utilize and care for a variety of tools and equipment. • Work effectively as part of a team, communicating clearly with crew members and supervisors. • Transportation: • Meet at the company office in SE Olympia at the start of each workday. • Ride in a company vehicle to and from job sites.
