Job Title: Masonry Worker Job Description As a masonry worker, you will be responsible for constructing walls, arches, and other structures using bricks, blocks, or stones. You will apply plaster and caulking as needed to ensure a smooth finish, perform frame carpentry tasks to support masonry work, finish concrete surfaces for durability and aesthetics, and restore existing masonry structures to maintain their integrity. JOB Department of Public Works Division Streets and Bridges is seeking a Mason to perform manual and some semi-skilled labor involving repairs or maintenance in the general construction, repair, and maintenance of city sidewalks, streets, and bridges and other related duties. The Department of Public Works builds, maintains, and operates the physical facilities that support and enhance the lives of Norfolk’s citizens, businesses, and visitors, including the City’s Storm Water System, Street Network and Waste Management and Recycling Systems.
